If your schedule allows, we invite you to spend the afternoon with us. Come dressed to play yard games, swim in the Hood Canal, and lay in the grass. We’ll have lunch and snacks for you.
Please bring your own towel, and a change of clothes for the ceremony.

If you can’t join us before the ceremony for some fun in the sun, now’s the time for you to arrive.
Join us for happy hour on the lawn. We’ll have limited seating, and we ask that you please bring a blanket or camp chair to sit on for the ceremony and picnic style dinner.

We’ll gather on the lawn, take a seat or stand as we tie the knot in a short and sweet ceremony.

When the ceremony wraps, we’ll transition to dinner. Please help us set up the taco bar by grabbing your item from the kitchen and bringing it out to the buffet table.
We’ll have chairs for about half of you. We ask that you please bring a blanket or camp chair your comfortable eating/relaxing on.

After dinner, we’ll get the bonfire going, relax and mingle, and stay as long as you like. Maybe now is when you redeem yourself at cornhole.
What to Expect

Our family friends, Julie & Peter Brink have graciously offered us their magical beachfront home as our venue.
Parking is incredibly limited, you MUST carpool, or you’ll have nowhere to park. Rules is rules.
Their home is located at 11515 WA-106 Belfair, WA 98528, minutes from Alderbrook Resort.

For the ceremony, think comfortable and relaxed. Sundresses, breezy outfits, button-downs, polos are all welcome. Wear what makes you feel good.
Note: If you’re coming early, feel free to dress casual and bring a change of clothes for the ceremony. If swimming, don’t forget a towel!

Who’s going to be there? The Hood Canal gathering is primarily a collection of Kate’s childhood friends and their families. We’re expecting around 40 guests. This includes our eight person traveling wedding party.
Will there be a ceremony? What about vows? Yes, there will be a short ceremony with vows at every wedding event.
